At present, there are many methods for stone coloring and dyeing at home and abroad: oily dye coloring, silicone oil coloring, ion coloring, infiltration coloring, vacuum pressing coloring, firing coloring, etc., but Looking at these stone coloring methods, either the process is not suitable for the coloring treatment of finished stone mountain carving, or the weather resistance is poor. Some use oil-based dyes to color stone mountain carving. Although it can solve the urgent need, its extremely poor weather resistance cannot solve the fundamental problem. Coloring construction at the front, fading at the back, especially in hot summer. For the treatment of dark stone color difference, there are few technical measures mentioned at present, especially the technology for reducing and changing the color of smooth stone is even less.

(1) Weather resistance: strong light irradiation ability, strong oxidation resistance, and rain resistance.

(3) Selection of base color stone.

(5) The chemical reaction and agent of color toning cannot corrode the stone and structural glue.
The chemical reaction of stone mountain carving coloring or color change should be carried out at room temperature, as well as the sagging and permeability. The valence state of the chromogenic ion used should be stable. Once the valence state of the ion changes, its color will also change accordingly.
