2. Marble, which belongs to limestone, is formed in long-term geological changes. The texture of marble is soft, beautiful, dignified, and elegant in style. It is an ideal material for decorating luxurious buildings and a traditional material for artistic sculpture. However, because there are too many flaws in marble, it is suitable for small-area sculpture decoration. In addition, marble is not as hard as granite, so it is easy to be damaged by friction, so it is not suitable for outdoor display.
3. White marble, a kind of marble, is one of the better building materials, and it is also a good carving stone. The color is white and flawless and the texture is fine, which can better describe the details of the sculpture, and is mostly used on stone Buddha statues.
4. Bluestone, also a kind of marble, is blue-gray in color. The carvings made of bluestone look very simple, so they are suitable for making antique-style stone Buddha statues. It has good hardness and weather resistance.
