Landscape Stone is a composite material with synthetic resin as the base and stone sculpture and its products as reinforcing materials. Landscape Stone is a finished type of
stone carving, which has the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance and relatively low cost. Also known as FRP, the scientific name is fiber reinforced plastic, and it is commonly called Landscape Stone in China.
As we all know, steel is hard, brittle, and high-temperature. Stone carving is hard and brittle, and has properties such as transparency, high temperature, and corrosion resistance. Smart people began to imagine that if the hardness, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance of stone sculpture could be created to be as hard and unbreakable as steel, this material would definitely be useful.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of Landscape Stone?
1. The density of lightweight and high-strength steel is only 1.5~2.0, which is only 1/4~1/5 of carbon steel. However, the tensile strength is close to that of carbon steel, and its non-strength can be compared with high-grade alloy steel.
2. Good corrosiveness, good resistance to atmosphere, water, general concentrations of acids, alkalis, salts, various oils and solvents.
3. If the craftsmanship is good, the molding process can be flexibly selected according to the shape, technical requirements, use and quantity of the product. The process is simple, one-time molding, and the economic effect is good, especially for products with complex shapes and small quantities that are difficult to form, which further highlights the superiority of its process.
4. If the design is good, materials can be fully selected to meet the performance of the product. Various structural products can be flexibly designed as needed to meet usage requirements and improve product integrity.
5. Aging phenomenon Aging phenomenon is a common defect of plastics, and the strength of stone sculpture is no exception. Due to the effects of ultraviolet rays, wind and rain, chemical media, mechanical stress, etc., the performance can easily decline.
6. Differences in long-term temperature resistance Generally speaking, Landscape Stone cannot be used for a long time at high temperatures. The strength of general polyester Landscape Stone drops significantly above 50°C, and is generally only used below 10°C. The strength of general-purpose epoxy Landscape Stone drops significantly above 60°C. However, high-temperature-resistant resin can be selected to make long-term working temperatures between 200 and 300°C possible.
